We are processors of edible nuts, seeds and dried fruit with a team of experts with over 140 years within the food industry. How about that!
 
You know the old saying… well, we source the best raw materials from all over the world to get the best ingredients to you, fully inspected, cleaned and processed so you can rely on the quality time after time.
 
Yes we roast, flake, split, nib, grind, mix and pack… but what makes us special is that with Quality Kernels you can put your mind at rest. We’ve done the hard work already!
 
Not surprisingly then, we supply a wide customer base in many markets. We pride ourselves on reliability, quality and communication. And yes… it’s all fully certified and traceable from a BRC v5 approved facility with Organic and Kosher certification and EHO 5 star!

It’s true we’re passionate about nuts and we’re proud of it too. What’s more we want to spread our nutty message: we know how to make nuts work for you so every order of nuts we send out is wrapped in added value.
 
Don’t believe us? Take Chris, who’s been with us since the beginning nine years ago (he’s a nutty bloke), as an example.   It was only recently that he managed single-handedly to get a rush order to a large bakery in 4 hours – that included sorting, processing, and personally delivering 10 12.5kg boxes of flaked almonds.

What we don’t know about nuts isn’t worth knowing.  With years (too many!) under our belts in many different roles, we know about nuts and we’re proud of it. We scour the world to get the best quality at the best price to make sure we’re giving you the best we can.  We’re a close knit team, united by a common purpose – to get you the best quality nuts, seeds and dried fruit time after time. 
 
Our values are shared across the Zubrance group of companies – values that are important to us all: the passion, the pace, the energy – these are the things that define us, makes us different.

There are currently three companies in the Group.  As well as Quality Kernels, over in Elland our sister company, New Ivory, leads the market in savoury and sweet sauces. And up in Harrogate, there’s Food Design, a producer of sweet inclusions used throughout the food industry.
